Babies hair - cradle cap ?

Is coconut oil good to use in my babies hair? I haven’t shampooed but just use water and breast milk. I did put aquaphor baby once but i still noticed the flakes. TIA.

I use coconut oil and it has helped a lot with the cradle cap

@Laura ok thank you i used it today for the first time but i just googled and it says it can make it worse? How do you use it ?

You can also put baby oil in their baths too. Or put whatever oil on their scalp and let it sit for a bit so it can soften it, shampoo and then gently comb afterwards. It definitely won’t come all out at once.

I leave it on for a couple of hours and then give her a bath. I put on a good amount. It will not come out rid away but just give it time.

Yea it can help but test it on your baby in case of allergies. I used baby oil and a scalp brush and it went away fast. But I found out it’s not really the shampoo or product you use but the brush. You need a good brush like I used one for adults and it got the cradle cap out fast. But the baby brush bristles were too small so it didn’t get it off.
