Yes, I’m often anxious during the day but it’s horrendous at night, I literally dread the sun going down.

Yup, at 4 month pp I started getting terrible anxiety attacks each day right around 4pm - 5pm (this was winter so the sun was going down right about then). But then it changed and the anxiety attacks started coming around noon. I'm a 1 year pp, have done a deep dive into my health but uf anything it's getting worse. Do you get really anxious about your baby while they were asleep? I did BIG time and my theory is that this is what started it all.

So during the day I’m always on what I feel high alert and then at night time every sound is terrifying, I have nightmares about my children being hurt and horrible things like that

@Amanda so interesting I would wake up at every sound like in a panic to check on baby. Do you think it’s a hyper arousal that leads to heightened cortisol for long period of time and impairs sleep and all is some vicious cycle ? Have you tried Emdr therapy it’s worked really good for me but I am 2 years pp so it takes a bit !
