Struggling with food

My 10 month old son doesn’t really eat much but is currently measuring at the size of an average 13 month old (he’s tall and muscular lol). Daycare even made the comment that it looks like he’s eating but he just puts food in his mouth and spits it out. He currently has 8 teeth and also WILL NOT let me feed him ANYTHING except for pieces of tiny bread if he’s playing. Should I be concerned or will he grow out of this soon?

I’d get him evaluated with the state for early intervention. My friend did the same with her son and a couple months later he was all solid food!

My son also doesn't let me feed him lol. What works for things that requires a spoon is: I have a two spoon method. I fill a spoon and give it to him. He puts in his own mouth as I dip a second spoon to get it ready for him. As soon as I see his cleaned the spoon he has, I show the filled spoon, so he lets go of the empty one and gets the full one. It has been working better and now he will even let me get the spoon from him without offering another one, because he knows I will just get more food for him! Also, have you tried pouches? The sucking motion is more similar to a bottle, so that might help!!

@Bruna i do the spoon swap too lol
