@Samantha I didn’t expect us to be out as long as we were. I get up at 6:30am to get myself and my son ready to pick him up from work but today we did extra running around after picking him up and then he wanted to go straight to his appointment
Girl, I would just make it a practice of eating regardless if you know you’re gonna be out all day or not packed yourself something or make sure you eat before you go. I am a mom myself. I get up at six every day. My daughter goes to school by seven. I’m now just getting home
@Samantha Monday through Thursday I eat when I get to my college before my classes but yea Fridays are always different and today went downhill fast
Oh, I get it. I’ve been running all day. I went to the doctors office. I didn’t have breakfast then I came back at 11:30 had a sandwich then I went to an interview then I got home about 3:30. Still haven’t had dinner 🍲
You didn’t ruin anything he added things to the list which is stressful enough after being up so early and your routine was thrown off all he had to do was being patient and understanding and get you guys properly feed after the appointment. You did nothing wrong! He clearly just expects you to push through and he’s not holding space for your needs which is a red flag! Especially when he can pout like a man child all day but has double standards on you. I’m sorry you had to go through that.
@Lyss thank you and I agree it feels like a double standard. He did apologize for how he reacted and for making it sound like he was trying to control me (telling me to eat his lunch at the appointment to hold me over until we got food after) but yea his reaction only made things worse
I know the feeling going through he same
Only thing I can say is I would not eat at a hairdressers appointment either, but maybe eat before you go places so you aren’t hungry and he doesn’t have to offer
