Breast milk before bed

I feed expressed breast milk all day and my little girl takes average of 160ml per bottle and has 5/6 a day I don’t know if that’s any help 😊

Yes I feed a bottle of 100ml expressed milk at bedtime and also still breastfeed - just to make sure she has enough to sleep through!

I breastfeed during the entire day, but just before bed I give 5 Oz of formula so he can have a long stretch of sleep

@Julia does formula really work for a longer sleep? I read it doesn't but so many people do it I figure it must!

@Lisa I believe it does. He sleeps 4 to 5 hours straight with formula. If I just breastfeed I have to feed him every 2 hours 😢

I EBF and my girl sleeps 9-10 hours solid at night so I don’t think it makes a difference if it’s breastmilk or formula I think it’s more dependent on the baby personally. If I was to express before bed I’d still only give the recommended 3-4oz so I didn’t risk over feeding
