newborn first bath

With my first I done it after 3 days x

I'm still waiting to bath mine, he is 12 days old. His umbilical cord still isn't quite healed so waiting for that x

I waited till her cord fell off which went surprisingly early! Only 1 week. We bath once every 3-4 days with top to toe washes inbetween.

We started bathing at 9 days old once her belly button had scabbed over and seemed dry. Bathing her every other day with just water for now 🙂

I waited for his cord to fall off and heal, think he ended up being about 12 days old. Will probably wait for this one too x

We did both of our sons at eight days old (once their cords had fallen off). But only using plain water.

Mines 6 days old and I don't want too wash him🥹😂

thanks so much everyone! i think with my first she was maybe 12/13 days old, my youngest is now just over 2 weeks and haven't bathed her yet. going to tomorrow i think xx

With my first I believe it was just under two weeks xx

My little girls cord came off on day 3, she had a bath day 4! (She was super constipated and a warm bath helped!) x

We wait till the umbilical cord is completely healed with my first that was 3-4 weeks old we did warm cotton wool around face and neck as needed as she was refluxy. We are at 10 days with my second and chord is almost healed so will likely bathe him around day 14 or so.

We waited until the cord fell off😊x
