HCG level

I’m 9 days post transfer today, had a natural frozen transfer last week. I had a blood test for HCG today and it was 27. The nurse said anything over 25 is classed as a positive result, but I’m not convinced it’s going to go well as it’s only just positive. I’m having another blood test on Sunday to compare. I’ve been testing daily on the early response tests and I think today’s test looks lighter than yesterdays 🙁 Has anyone had a similar experience? Trying to manage my expectations a bit

I’m in a similar situation at the moment so I’ve no words of encouragement. I had negative test 10 days post transfer. Clinic told me to test 3 days later (yesterday) which said positive. Talk about messing with my head. I went to the clinic to test my blood which came back positive but they didn’t tell me the number of the hcg level. Today I am bleeding and urine test is now very very faint 💔. I’ve another blood test tomorrow but I think I’m having a chemical pregnancy. Fingers crossed for you I hope it all works out 🤞🏻 x

So sorry to hear that, sounds incredibly tough. It’s such an emotional rollercoaster 💔 I’m normally a pretty stoic person, but struggling this week - the lubion injections probably aren’t helping

How were your levels yesterday? Going up?

@Laura thanks for asking. To my great surprise it was 51! The doctor who called me with the result was so lovely, really seemed to understand how difficult the whole thing is. Plan is to do another one in a few days and to step away from the urine pregnancy tests in the meantime… I’ve got a scan booked for a couple of weeks, but not sure I can think that far ahead yet

That's great news that they're going up! I've got everything crossed for you!

@Laura thank you! Saturday feels like a long wait for the next test, I’ve managed to avoid the temptation to do a urine pregnancy test in the meantime though

@Amy Did you have a blood test in the end and have you got a result?

Yeah it’s not good news for me unfortunately. I’m so glad it is for you though! Hang on in there until Saturday ❤️ x

@Amy so sorry to hear that, I’ve had 2 failed transfers this year and know how hard it is. Hope you have success with future cycles

Thank you. I’m so sorry that must have been so tough! I hope this is your time 🤞🏻🤞🏻 x
