How often does your baby poop?

My baby consistently goes like a week or more without pooping at all.. I hate it. Our pediatrician says it’s normal, which I understand since breastmilk has everything he needs and not much extra so there’s not much “waste” to get rid of. But I can tell my baby is uncomfy sometimes (not excessively). Any tips for helping to make him poop? We constantly add a little prune juice/apple juice into his bottles. We’ve tried rectal stimulation with a thermometer and with Windi’s. Bicycling his legs, massaging his tummy, warm baths. Is there anything we haven’t tried that has worked for you? TIA!

my baby goes through the same thing except it’s every 5-6 days only the dot. pediatrician says it’s normal for breastfed babies to go up to 12 days without going. i’d say if baby has enough wet diapers and is farting then its fine :) as long as baby isn’t uncomfortable, like my boy when he finally does poop he doesn’t cry or show discomfort for his farts (they do smell bad though)

Because we combo-feed, he goes every 1-2 days. On days that he fully breastfeeds (weekends) he wont poop until Monday nights/Tuesday mornings

My baby is nearly 11 weeks, and only drinks breast milk (both by breast and expressed), and tends to go once a day. My LO is on gaviscon which can sometimes plug her up, so we try stomach massages, reflexology on her feet, bicycle kicks, rolling onto her side, 1oz of water (on the rare occasion if she’s not been for 2 days and is visibly in pain), and this does tend to help!
