I wasn’t diagnosed until after my morning sickness stopped, but have you tried smaller/more frequent meals and snacks? Roasted almonds maybe? I hope you can find a solution that works for you, fingers crossed!
I can only suggest massive trial and error. It may be that you need to go on medication as you simply need to be able to eat carbs to survive! I can’t imagine how difficult that is though, I really feel for you. You may find you can tolerate some wholemeal toast if you put some peanut butter on it perhaps for protein? I can only tolerate 1 slice of wholemeal if it’s loaded with protein
I have hyperemisis and GD and I’m on cyclizine and it helps me to eat as normally as poss although having both conditions is a real struggle
@Emily I haven’t got my monitor yet so I don’t know. They are sending it to me. I’ve tried to look for the one I had when I was pregnant with my son but I have no idea where I put it 😩
@Kiera I need to now really but there are so many foods I cannot stand. I’m going to have to try and figure it out. Before I was pregnant, I ate healthy and ate low carb foods which I enjoyed but if I think about any of them foods, it makes me really nauseous 🤢
@Jess I’m on medication for the sickness but none of them work. I’ve already tried 3 different ones 😩 I might need to go on medication for the GD. I was diet controlled with my first pregnancy so I was hoping it would be the same this time round. I can tolerate toast and peanut butter and I used to eat cheese on toast when pregnant with my son which I can tolerate
@Iona I was a on cyclizine but that didn’t work. I’m on my third medication and none have worked so far
Is it your fasting or food levels that are usually high xxx
