Is this prolapse? I'm not sure how to explain it.

I have this ball inside my vagina it might be my cervix. I dont know. When I go to feel it, it's round, and there's a whole in the middle. The ball gets big for hours, and then it goes down. The ball is usually close to the entrance of my vagina and then far to the back. There's so much pressure down there, and I recently had a period it only lasted 3 days compared to 7 days.

It does sound like a prolapse. You should go to a pelvic floor physio to be accessed.

@Jaimmie, okay, thank you. I've been seeing my gynecologist, and she goes to check to see the bulge, and it's not there, so she's not too sure if it's a prolapse.

Mine isn’t visible but it can feel like a tampon inside the vagina almost. I have a grade 1 uterine prolapse. They can do ultrasound to potentially see it but my pelvic floor physio said if you have ongoing symptoms then it is one just a grade 1. This is positive because you can do exercises and strengthen your core, protecting the area and then stop feeling the bludgeoned anymore. My OBGYN also said with lower levels of estrogen while breastfeeding it can increase the sensation of it so they sometimes prescribe estrogen cream.

Also having your period a few times can increase your estrogen and decrease the feeling but also around your period things get looser to allow you to shed your uterine lining so you can feel your prolapse more around that time (that’s what my pelvic floor physio told me)
