Ectopic?

I have been spotting for a good few days on and off which is now turning clotty and now I have a horrible pain in my left side. I had accepted I was miscarrying but now I fear this may be an ectopic because of the one sided pain. I am terrified 😔

If you’re worried I would go to the hospital, for either the miscarriage or ectopic. I had an ectopic and my pain was solo on one side and severe back pain (with bleeding). It’s definitely worth getting it checked as ectopic can be life threatening if not identified quickly. I hope everything’s all okay for you 💞

@Lizzie I went to get checked even though I was only just nearly 6 weeks because the pain on the one side. They wanted to rule out ectopic because of that and had hcg levels taken. They're very low for my gestation so they've said it's very likely it is a miscarriage and I've got to go back for hcg tomorrow to check whether they've decreased, in which case they won't scan me. Always feels like a drama if I ever have to go to the doctors dor anything but better to be safe than sorry and I'm glad it's unlikely to be ectopic. Not the best outcome either way but onwards and upwards

I’m so sorry, both are really horrible experiences. Sending love 💞 It’s a shame you have to push so much to be taken seriously at the doctors at the moment, when I had my ectopic I had to push my GP and EPAU to take me seriously and I was right, then the same again with the MC, so I know it’s tough but it’s always best to advocate for yourself, you know when something isn’t right.

@Lizzie it really does show how much we have an instinct that should be trusted. I am so sorry to hear about your experiences. I knew something was off with the pregnancy from the start. I just want the bleeding to stop and for it to be over now so I can move on.
