Loneliness

Does anyone else feel incredibly lonely? I have a nearly two year old son, no close family and my pre child friendship group has fizzled out as we live completely different lifestyles. We are on our own most days and not only do I feel lonely at times I feel bad for my son as he doesn’t get much interaction with anyone else or any other children. I put him down for a nursery place back in April to start in October but apparently they still haven’t got to him on the waiting list yet. Wish I had some parent friends, but also feel like I’m not your regular everyday parent 😂

I’m in the same boat! I’ve recently become a SAHM so we’re on the search for some friends!

I feel the same! We were supposed to move to Norwich back in February so didn't want to join a load of baby groups to just leave straightaway and now we still haven't moved so I'm just in limbo!

I did try a few baby groups last year but I found that people tend to go with their parent friends and stick to their groups, felt a little bit like a lemon 😂 maybe a few of us should get together and grab some coffee at Waterloo park and let the kids go run riot around the park sometime

@Liv oh definitely! I think I can get in my own head sometimes as well and feel like I’m the weirdo 😂 I try to be friendly but then I worry I’m being too much or coming across nuts 🤦‍♀️ tbf I can be both of these things

I have a 2 year old, 1 year old and new born. It’s so lonely, same here I don’t have any family around and my friendships all fizzled out too. It’s so hard. I miss just having adult conversations. Message me 🥰
