Can you guess the gender with the baby positioned downward
I had my 12 weeks scan last week and the baby refused to turn and was laying on its stomach. The sornographer kept asking me to wiggle and pressing on my stomach to see if the baby would turn but my baby was probably asleep as it was 9am.
I’m sad because I don’t know if I can guess the gender or not. Would have been fun to have people guess what they think the gender would be but not sure if the picture would make sense but I’m going to attach it anyway.
Also worried that my combined screening test results having coming in and it’s been more than a week now!

I guess I’ll have to wait to find out through a private scan.
Make sure you eat maybe have a drink with some caffeine in. My first scan the baby was facing down so I was sent to have a walk, eat something and have some caffeine then went back in and baby was awake and wriggling around. My scan was 8.30am and I hadn’t eaten at first 😊
My baby is always upside/ not very cooperative at scans🤣🤣 so we paid for a gender blood test, it was £130 but was 99.99% accurate as it’s testing DNA. I gave up paying for the private scans to find out as she was just so stubborn 🤣🤣 Wishing you a smooth, healthy pregnancy xx
