Help please! Really low supply :-(

Hi ladies! Does anyone have any tips, gems of advice or any weird and wonderful ideas to increase milk supply. I will pretty much try anything. I’m desperate to get baby back to the boob and I know I’m not getting enough milk at the min. Baby had her first 4 feeds from me but a split pubis, sepsis, strep and meningitis then decided to ruin the fun and we ended up being separated for nearly 3 weeks :-( She’s now 9 weeks old and absolutely loves to guzzle down the aptamil!!! I’m on domperidone to get my milk through but could really do with any gems of knowledge out there please :-) TIA

Malt drinks worked for me Hope you and your little bean are doing well now x

Oatmeal cookies with brewers yeast. Have you tried pumping?

@Shay thanks, I’ll have to google brewers yeast lol I am pumping probably not as often as I should (currently only managing 4 times a day) but I’m getting barely anything each pump!!

@Beth thank you, much better thanks ☺️

Look up lactation cookies recipes and they will have the brewers yeast in them. You can buy lactation cookies but they aren't very good imo. What pump do you have? And have you measured to make sure your flange size is correct?

@Shay thank you! I’m looking into some brewers yeast supplements. I’ve got three different pumps 🤦🏻‍♀️ two wearables and one ardo one that I’ve borrowed from the breastfeeding team; that’s got a bigger flange which is more comfortable!

Avocado and cramberry juice with lots of water helped me

I'd get a nipple ruler and make sure your flange is correct. Also wearables just don't move milk as well as normal pumps. I wouldn't make your wearable your main pump. Also make sure to change out your membranes/duckbills every 3-4weeks

I've never used ardo so I don't know the specs on it. I really like my spectra S2 and spectra gold
