PP bleeding

Sorry for tmi, but i had an emergency c section 7weeks ago (not sure if that makes a difference) and had vaginal bleeding as normal.. was alot of fresh red blood then after a while it was less, then turned brown and has been brown for weeks. This is now my 7th week of bleeding and its more like fresh red blood again, and it’s definitely not a period.. some days it’ll be very pink. I am seeing health visitor next week so will ask, but in the meantime just wondering if this is normal.

How do you know it definitely not a period as post C-section it’s very common for periods to start Gain between 6-8 weeks post pp. I had an emergency section and had my first period at 10 weeks. It might not be a period but sounds like it could be as youv said bleeding has been brown for weeks and slowed down. X

@Lucy I didn’t think it was as I usually get very painful period cramps, but i am having no pains and everyone tells me it’s the most painful period after having a baby. But i guess everyone is different x

I never had any pain with mine pp. everyone is different but does sound like period to me x

I thought I was having a secondary hemorrhage at 6 weeks I had clots the size of hamsters falling out of me! Went back to the Labour suite they checked me and said it was my period🤣 I’d go to your doctors/pregnancy unit/urgent care and get checked

@Eve omg sounds horrible. I have just had clots the size of a walnut and that’s bad enough! Will definitely contact someone this weekend and it’s still worrying x
