Suddenly refusing milk :(

It could be teething my son recently was teething really bad and I’m not sure if sucking the bottle teat / sippy cup made it worse but he kept throwing them in frustration despite wanting the milk xx
I think it's teething as she has a sore bum too. She has had 1 oz of milk all day and only sips of water 😪
I was still giving my little girl formula up until around a month ago because I couldn’t find an alternative she agreed with and one day she just point blank refused the formula I tried every day for about week and hasn’t drank it since not sure why I no not ideal but try adding some sugar free squash to water just to get some fluid intake x
@Tara when she started to refuse she had a high temp sore bum and upset tummy I think she associated the milk with being unwell in her case x
It's been 2 days now since she has had anything really. Has been screaming as soon as she sees the bottle. Now barely drinking water/ squash . Eating lots of fruit though. Won't let me near her mouth to look at the teeth. I'm certain it's her canines. I just hope they come in soon 😞 Tried different cups, beakers the lot :( nothing is working x
My baby’s cut the 2 top canines and bottom one coming through now x

Babies can be really weird. My boy weaned himself off milk at home and would only drinkk at the nursery. It happened suddenly… when we went on holiday. At the time, milk was 100% his food but then he started crying and crying whenever I offered him and barely had 180ml for an entire day. I thought he had throat pain or mouth sores or something but couldn’t find anything. I became paranoid and took him to the gp the next day. They checked and found nothing wrong but he kept refusing the milk bottle. We were asked to stay for supervision where he was offered a jar of yogurt. Oh my god! Not only did he eat it up, but wanted more. He finished two jars on the spot. That’s when it clicked that he probably didn’t want milk anymore. We were discharged and each time I brought a bottle of milk close to him the crying started but he would gladly take yogurt or something else. This was in August and till date he won’t take milk at home but only at the nursery when he sees other kids drinking.
