Introducting my October baby 💗 40 Weeks 1 Day Had a sweep on 9th October, delivered baby morning of 11th October (due date 10th October) Went for a evening dog walk, sat in the garden to look for the Northern lights (didn't see any) couldn't get comfortable in the chair so gave up and went to bed. Got into bed and just couldn't sleep so sat scrolling through social media then randomly got one stong tummy pain, it then happened 2 more times within an hour. I got out of bed and sat downstairs and tracked the contrarions on an app within an hour I was getting contractions every 4 mins and lasting 30 seconds. I then decided to go wake the boyfriend, I went to the toilet had a contraction, then noticed blood in the toilet and I started throwing up, I asked the boyfriend to call us in as theres now blood. Got to hospital around 3:30am, spent 90mins in the triarge room, wqs 5cm dilated, moved to labour room and given gas and air, had the urge to push at 7am was pushing for a while got exhausted so had to be cut and baby had to be ventouse out. Baby was born at 10:32 Introducting Greyson Adam Green, 6lb 15oz Labour regrets wish I moved around more and changed positions I feel this affect how long I was pushing for and made me exhausted (I was sat up right in bed for all of the pushing stage)
