Passions

I know it’s more of a me thing but, does anyone else feel empty. My husband has his own business that he loves and I just live off of it. I want my own passion, my own income, something I can be proud of on my own while caring for our baby. What do you guys do or suggest?

I would say to start your own business. It will become your baby, your passion and you can fit it into your life the way you want to. As your baby grows and becomes more independent you’ll be able to invest more time into it as well.

@Chaquettea I would love to, I just don’t know what avenue I want to go with. Do you have a business?

We’re in the same boat. I had a successful career in HR that I absolutely loved, when LG is a bit older I plan on going back into the corporate world. Do you have anything you can fall back on? Did you work before baby? I also sometimes help my husband with his business, not sure if there is space for you in your husband’s company?

I help people run their own travel business from their phones or laptops or use this travel subscription to save & earn on their own bookings, or generate income online by booking for others!! You can earn an uncapped income off almost any booking online; we have access to some of the biggest and best partners. We can book absolutely anything and everything you book online already but turn it into an income stream. Let me know if you would like more information 💗

@Clare generally curious what type of situations would people book through a travel agent? We’re using a specific Disney agent for Disney, but other than that what? We go to the Caribbean once a year and many moons ago we used to book through an agent but the past several years it’s been cheaper to book directly through sites like funjet, Apple vacations, etc. I haven’t been to Europe since ‘22 but I’ve also not seen a need to use an agent…Perhaps, if traveling with a big group? 🤷‍♀️

Yes my degree is in genetics and biochemistry so I do consulting work right now instead of working a traditional 9 to 5. I’m also licensed in my state to help people with different financial services. For me, I want to have my own money and to still feel like I have an identity outside of my kids and husband but I still want to be as active as possible in their lives (if that makes sense lol). It works for me for now.

@Allison my clients are family and friends, I have some younger back packers, a teacher, dentist, nurses.. people who have demanding jobs and parents, who want the best rates but don’t have the time to compare prices or find the best rate. Lots of my clients want the nice trip but not the hassle of organising it all x

@Allison plenty of people still use agents there’s lots of people to become clients and even show the business too in cases they want access to the personal perks x
