Hey, not kickboxing but a PT and HIIT and spin instructor trained until the last minute. Just watch your balance to reduce the risk of falling, be careful with stretches as due to the relaxin hormone you are more prone to an injury. If something slightly offish, stop... in the last month banded donkey kicks didn't feel right but I didn't want to accept that I can do heavy weight but a banded donkey kicks wants to put me in shame so I carried away just to suffer a pelvic girdle pain, lasting for couple of weeks luckily. Bottom line: your body will tell and warn you and just really listen to it. And do lots of pelvic floor exercises x
Heyy, I don't do kickboxing (it was kickboxing or crossfit back in 2017 and I chose crossfit 😂) I think that's awesome you're surrounded by people who will allow you to continue safely! Like most people said just listen to your body. Very different but I'm 27 weeks pregnant and still crossfitting 4 times a week. I have a friend who's 37 weeks pregnant and also still going and we're both feeling amazing. They'll know what to do, not to do and look out for such things as no deep core twist, your balance might feel off etc but I'm excited for you! 😊 Enjoy and like others have said just listen to your body xx
I haven’t done kickboxing. As long as theirs no risk of impact to your stomach I don’t see an issue. Prior to me falling pregnant I was running, yoga, weight training and went to exercise classes. Once pregnant I carried on weight strength training adapting as my pregnancy progressed. I didn’t continue running as my boobs would hurt lol. I was fortunate enough to carry on exercising during pregnancy. My labour was 4 hours and I’m now back to yoga and gym and my little girl arrived 26th September :) Listen to your body- drink plenty and rest more
