Milk bleb

Oh. My. God. My nipple hurts!! Has anyone dealt with a milk bleb? What the heck do you do to fix it quickly? I am screaming and crying in pain trying to nurse my 2 week old baby and I don’t know what to doooo

i’ve had the same one come and go for over a month now. i tried every single at home method my LC recommended. i just got in touch with my OB and they recommended me to someone who can “pop” it basically. i have an appt next week. these things SUCK!! sorry you have to go thru it bb

My midwife sent me a script for it but I ended up using hot water in my hakkah with some Epsom salt! And sort of squeezed it out if that makes sense!

@Megan is it a blister or just a hard lump of milk? I’ve got one and it hurts! I tried to pick at it, but hasn’t made a difference- just more painful. I’m curious what it actually is!
