Yes, it was only 80 quid or so and the quality of the picture was 10x better than the NhS one. Really lovely experience. NHS felt very rushed…

Was the gender correct with yours? X

I had private at 17 weeks then the nhs and they were both the same and correct! Even though I still asked when she was born if she was definitely a girl haha Are you just worried or has it actually been wrong? I can imagine if they’re both the same the likelyhood of it being wrong is quite low! I didn’t tell my nhs nurse what the private one said I waited until she said what she thought x

I paid for private one at 16 weeks and was told the same gender at 20 weeks, I then had another private 4D one at 31 weeks and all 3 was told it's a boy, so pretty sure I'm having a boy! Due 27th October 😬

@Sophie sometimes it's hard to tell at the early stage. I had a midwife say it was "most likely a girl" but I wanted an actual confirmation. sometimes positions can hide the gender in the early stages aha

@Riley yes very true, NHS won't tell you for definite they just say 'most likely' to cover themselves 😅 normally they don't get boys wrong though as they can see their bits! I've been told he's not shy 😂

@Sophie 😂😂 I had to wait till 20 weeks before I actually got confirmed by the NHS. the woman who assumed wasn't English (her accent made her mispronounce every word) and I never understood a word of what she said apart from "most likely a girl" 🤦🏻‍♀️ the woman who confirmed actually showed me how she knew the gender and she spoke English as a first language so I could understand everything she was actually doing.

@Riley oh no, well I am glad you managed to get the gender confirmed the 2nd time around, when are you due?

@Sophie I've already had mine aha she's 7 months now

I went for a private gender scan at 16 weeks and baby boy was so stubborn but they managed to confirm it’s a boy and he was exactly the same on my 20 week NHS scan and even though he’s very stubborn I still got my confirmation it’s a boy but like @Sophiesaid the NHS has to say “most likely” because they say they can’t 100% guarantee anything

Yes it was
