Anyone no longer being sick but still feel awful?

I'm 13 weeks pregnant into my second pregnancy. I'm on Xonvea morning and evening and it is great. I haven't been in hospital for fluids in about a month and only occasionally been sick. I've been getting my appetite back the last few days and I'm eating and drinking pretty well, although I still have some strong food aversions. Thing is, I still feel rotten. I'm absolutely knackered, my tummy is uncomfortable, I have a horrid taste in my mouth and just feel eurghh. I feel guilty that I'm not able to do more around the house and with my son (I'm a stay at home mum) because I seem so much better.

I had HG the whole way through, but was medication managed from about 24 weeks. Just because I wasn’t going to hospital 3x a week or vomitting several times a day anymore did not mean I was cured. The meds stop the vomitting, but not the nausea which is often debilitating and still affects your appetite and energy levels constantly. Plus being pregnant comes with fatigue PLUS even though the meds help, they each come with side effects of their own. This is all to say, don’t feel guilty- just because you’re not feeling on your deathbed anymore doesn’t mean you are better and will be back to pre-pregnancy energy levels and contributions

I could have written this myself, I’ve been on it almost a week now, I’m 10+4. I haven’t been sick since starting on it, but I do feel nauseas still all the time. I’m just knackered constantly still, and really glad I’m still signed off work at the minute x

I think even if you do start to recover from the HG, maybe it will take a while for your body and health as a whole to recover as well? You may find you see more improvement in a few weeks’ time.
