Growth scan

Has anyone had a growth scan a week apart? I had a growth scan at 27 weeks and he plotted 50th centile, I then had another growth scan this week at 32 weeks and he has now dropped down to 3rd centile. I’ve had 3 ctgs since Monday and another one tomorrow, and I have an ultrasound booked followed by consultant review for Tuesday. However, as far as I was aware the hospital won’t do growth scans a week apart, only two? Just wondering if anyone else has had weekly growth scans for this reason?

I’ve not had growth scans generally a week apart but I’ve had a growth scan and then a follow up scan with the consultant a week later twice now in this pregnancy.

@Alice I’m just abit confused with it all haha. I had a growth scan Tuesday and then I’ve had a letter for another one next Tuesday but one midwife said that would just be a Doppler or something. But when speaking to my consultant on Tuesday just gone she mentioned that due to his drop in growth if there’s no improvement they will look at giving steroids and delivering early so my heads just abit scrambled at the moment with it all, and then hearing that growth scans can’t be a week apart as there isn’t enough time in one week for baby to grow?

Doppler could be to check the placenta if there’s growth concerns. My scans have been close together due to different things but one of my twins went from 5th to 20th centile in a week with a different person measuring so try not to worry too much x

I got sent for a scan following bump measuring under the 10th percentile, scan showed 28th percentile.... 3 weeks later baby now 62 percentile so now back again because they've 'grown too much too quickly' ! I'm a firm believer that the more scans you have the more they find wrong and also depends on who's measuring and doing the scan. Try not to worry too much and if baby does not need to come early it's good they found out! X
