you can’t just give her formula with milk in as when introducing it again you have to follow the milk ladder which is a tiny bit at a time and building it up. call 111 or go to your local hospital and they will be able to prescribe you some for the time being
To be clear. Pepti 1 Aptamil Pepti 1 is a whey-based extensively hydrolysed formula with galacto- and fructo oligosaccharides (GOS/FOS) for the dietary management of cow's milk allergy. You don't need a prescription for it, you can just buy it in most pharmacies. Prescription gives you an option to get it for free, nothing more.
@Olga 111 was no help and I have no hospital near me and I don’t drive I’m in middle of nowhere atm. It’s so bloody annoying. Pharmacy reccomended HIPP organic as it has whey- based stuff in it and is closest match. I’m so angry as I feel like with these doctors we get messed about so much. I’ve sent an email higher up hopefully will get somewhere. I can’t wait to move hopefully doctors will be so much better down there.
you need to keep on at 111
You don't need prescription for hydrolysed formula if you are ok to pay for it. Just buy a can, any large pharmacy would stock some.
