Milk

My baby has always been a really good drinker m, now over the last couple days he will struggle drinking a couple ounces and cry on the bottle? Has this happened to anyone else? We haven’t changed formula or bottles

If your baby 6 weeks they start transitioning

@Gifty what does that mean? Sorry if I sound stupid. I don’t remember this happening with my daughter x

They begin to stretch between their feeds so they don’t drink as often as they use to when they were newborns. I experienced it with my first, but if you are worried speak to health visitors or gp could also be teething or something else

Could be wind / colic / reflux. Didn’t have with my 1st but I did have and this happened with my 2nd. Usually it shows up around 3-4 weeks.

I was looking at when to size up with bottles and it says babies usually become fussy all of a sudden on the bottle as the milk isn’t coming fast enough for them anymore.. could they need to size up with the teat ? X

This is exactly what happened with me - my baby was such a good drinker and now all of a sudden at 3 and a half weeks, has been very fussy when drinking and in extreme discomfort after feeding, took her to get checked and turns out she has silent reflux.
