ACID REFLUX
So my baby has been on thickener (carobel) on each feed I am
Using one scoop in every 5 ounces which is still causing her constipation if I make it any thinner her reflux kicks in. Dr has recommend aptamil acid reflux and said when made it is thinner and thickens in the stomach I have seen videos of it getting made and looks thicker then milk made with carobel before even fed. Did anyone have any constipation issues on aptamil acid reflux ??

We used Aptamil too but on top of reflux she was vomiting too. Now we use Kendamil and she's perfectly fine. Also we changed teats size on bottles from 1 to 2. She's currently 4 months.
We used aptamil reflux and his pops turned to not daily and like tooth paste immediately

@zee yes he stopped going every day and it l was thick so constipated

It’s not thin at all. It’s literally so thick. My boy was on it for a while and he was fine in terms of constipation and he stopped being sick but he went the other way and started having really runny stools. Anti reflux is just normal milk with carobel mixed in, it’s not really any different but I preferred it to mixing carobel in as it’s the same consistency for each bottle. He is actually on cows milk allergy milk now though x
