Dating scan pain
I had my dating scan/ultrasound yesterday and I think the lady pressed too hard I’ve been getting random sharp pains/cramps since. Has this happened to anyone?

I had this after my dating scan, I think it’s pretty normal. So long as you let them know if it hurts during, you should be fine! My anatomy scan at 20weeks didn’t hurt 💕

hey lovely, this is actually really common! it’s generally from the pressure that was put onto your growing uterus which is already tender, i experienced this a few times during my pregnancies, i was tender for a day or two after ❤️ all was fine! but for a peace of mind if you’re worried you can call your maternity triage and let them know your concerns ❤️
