Abdominal pain that is not cramps

These days it seems everything I eat causes me stomach upset. I have really bad nausea so I haven’t been eating much to begin with, but whatever I do causes me extra gas and abdominal pain. I don’t know if this is an emergency because my regular periods beforehand only had very mild cramping and so sometimes I feel like I can’t tell the difference. I have low bmi and 9 weeks pregnant and feel like I have been able to feel baby sac movements (feel very distinct from gas). Should I still go in to the ER or is this normal?

I feel you on this! It’s been very similar with me. I’ve heard the hormonal fluctuations and slowing down of the digestive tract can cause this. I already had gut issues (IBS and SIBO) before pregnancy, and it feels similar to that for me. Gas can be suuuuper painful, and same with constipation (I get constipation and diarrhea with pregnancy right now, yay). You could call an advice nurse if you’re worried! 💗

I got abdominal pain this past weekend but it started higher up on my belly like below my rib cage and then moved to like my belly button area and it was likely because I ate my meal too fast then took a nap right after lol. The rest of the day I had pain like my body was trying to digest and move the food down. I practically couldn’t eat anything else that day except fluids, I felt SO full and bloated and uncomfortable.

Same here!! I’ve been going through this and it’s SO HARD. There are woman with you girl.

Have you tried colace or miralax? Your gas and cramps could be due to constipation
