Hi mama! I hate to say it but it might be too late for a bottle 😕 Have you tried a sippy cup?? If she's drinking water from a sippy or straw, she make take breastmilk from it too!! I've noticed over the years that it's really difficult to introduce bottles after 5 or 6 months, unfortunately. But maybe you'll have luck with the other!! 🤞🏼

She does drinking water from a Sippy cup.. but not very well. I think her clothes drinks more of the water than she does. When I tried giving her breastmilk in a bottle/ Sippy cup so much of it goes to waste 😭 will continue trying

I would agree with Ariel it’s quite unlikely baby will accept a bottle now as they’ve lost the innate sucking reflex they are born with. An open cup is a great option if baby hasn’t mastered a sippy cup but also.. practice makes perfect so it may be milk gives LO more motivation to improve drinking skills than water! x

I taught my 7 month old to drink out of a baby bottle we had left from before she was born and I added some extra holes to it. I offer her water a couple of times when she’s eating and now she can drink from it. Just constantly offer it, I wouldn’t buy new ones encase she doesn’t but just add more holes similar to your milk flow

@Nichola be careful making the flow from a bottle too fast as you may find they get a bottle preference (not an issue if you wouldn’t mind them stopping nursing, but if you’re wanting to continue just something to bare in mind). A breastfed baby should stay on the slowest flow teat to mimic the work required at the breast x

Skip the bottle and go for an open cup if sippy cups aren't working. Of course support her so she doesn't dump it everywhere.
