Pain in Groin, have you experienced this?

In my second trimester I experienced pain in the groin as I was walking down steps from time to time and it would go away after I rested a bit. When I told the doctor they called it round ligaments pain. Today I make 32 weeks and 3 days and while I was at work I got up from my desk and all of a sudden I couldn’t walk without this pain in my groin again and it was more pronounced than ever before! I decided to sit and rest for the next four hours and as soon as I got up to walk it continued. I had to have coworkers wheel me to the rest room in an office chair out to my car to go home. Has anyone experienced this? Should I call the doctor again?

It’s normal! There’s times I get up in the morning and it hurts my groin area and it sometimes be difficult to walk. I’m 31 weeks + 3 days pregnant with baby #2.

this is currently happening to me, when I'm resting I'll be fine, but a lot of times when I try to get up I have pain in the groin, but if its so bad that u can't walk because of it then u probably should ask ur doctor abt that jus to make sure nothing's wrong

@Jazlyn my doctor already knows all the pains I’m going through. It’s the muscles and round ligament pain because of the baby growing. It doesn’t hurt too much and I’m also already experiencing Braxton hicks here and there 😭 I have a feeling I’ll go into labor early as my first born was born 37 weeks + 6 days.

@s a r a 🥀 I haven't experienced Braxton Hicks yet, is it rlly bad tho? is it the same as real contractions or not as bad? sorry, this is my first pregnancy and I'm currently 31 weeks and 5 days, so any advice u could give me would be greatly appreciated ❤

@Jazlyn a lot of people said it’s not painful but definitely uncomfortable. For me, it was both. Pain and uncomfortable. It could last a short period of time or longer but it would definitely feel like forever. For contractions, for me it feels like period cramps but 10x worse. I had an unplanned induction but it wasn’t so bad. A lot of others will have a good or bad experience with it. If you go down that route, my advice is, I know you’re feeling a lot of emotions but keep your mind open (if you think about getting the epidural or natural). Stay positive and go with the flow. I gave birth naturally and even though I was in so much pain, I pushed through the pain.

Try to find a certified Webster chiropractor around you! They specialize in prenatal chiropractic care. Since our joints are more relaxed, our public bone joint in the front is more unstable and can shift causing pain. The chiropractor can help realign your pelvic joints. Pain in your pubic bone symphysis in the front Often sharp Hurts during transitional movements like rolling, getting out of bed, off the floor, or our of the car

@s a r a 🥀 thank u for the advice, this is very helpful! and I plan to go natural and as of rn I don't plan on getting an epidural, cause there could be negative side effects of the epidural, it's unlikely but still possible, so I'd rather not do that if I don't absolutely need to.

I’ve been going through the same thing. It hurts sooo damn bad. My doc hasn’t been much help. The pain is actually crippling me
