FYI you will likely develop some form of ohss! Make sure to drink toooooons of water after retrieval and eat tooooooons of protein! I was in a similar boat as you and unfortunately many of my eggs were not good quality :( but I did wind up with 6 highest grade embryos, so overall a massive success!
I am at risk of OHSS and may not be able to do a fresh Embryo transfer because of it but 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 @Claire have you had a transfer yet? 💝
Update: due to delay with my Insurance. Hopefully, i will be starting stims on thursday and it may be a freeze all cycle because of the risk of OHSS
@Caz yes! I had a retrieval in March and successful transfer in April. (Currently 30 weeks!!). I would go ahead and bank on a frozen transfer so that you can focus on your stims. There is some data that a frozen transfer is marginally more successful than fresh (sooo many factors at play, so completely case by case) but for me, the month was plenty of time to recover. I avoided hospitalization by taking a Rx prescribed by my clinic, and lots of water and protein! First fet was successful :)
@Patrice I did a freeze all cycle! I was disappointed at first, but am glad I was able to keep myself safe! Ohss can be really rough :(
