Is there anything your doing to help it?
I was going to ring my drs tomorrow as it’s been 3 days, he doesn’t seem in any pain but his bum is sore! I did look into kendamil comfort drops but not sure if they will help..
By any chance is he on kendamil?
I took mine off Kendamil for this reason… only went every 4/5 days but when she did it was exactly like this. Apparently “it’s normal” according to ‘kendamums’ but not for me….! I did a straight swap instead of longer introduction of new formula over time and noticed an immediate difference!
My son is on aptamil and has been since 3rd week of birth and never seen this before hence why I’m very suprised and concerned
Ring the drs! We got an appointment straight away and they’ve asked for a poo sample, which we have given. But they helped!
@Chantelle where they able to diagnose what it was?
Waiting for test results! But they told me it’s super common in babies/infants, they assessed if he was dehydrated, had dry eyes, sunken eyes etc all the things on the NHS website x
@Chantelle ahhh please let me know how he gets on! I have been constantly checking my son’s fontelle to see if it had dipped but has been fine. I will call GP on Monday but his now pooing twice a day rather than after every feed. Could be just part of his development.
My little boy is 8 weeks and just started pooping after every feed, I’m sure his is diarrhoea though! But it sounds explosive!
