Are you using the Lansinoh Nipple cream? I have found it works well and you don’t need to wipe it off. It may be your not getting enough boob in baby mouth. I’d give a midwife a shout and explain as they will be able to see if enough is going in. When I was in hospital they sort of squeezed my boob and put in in baby mouth.

Ask for some help from the infant feeding team to make sure latch is as good as it can be

Put lansinoh on before and after. And our plenty on. Air out your nipples as often as possible with nothing touching them. This usually heals me up the quickest. It gets easier x

I used nipple shields intermittently in the first couple of weeks if I felt them feeling a bit raw. Some people say not to because of nipple confusion when they’re first getting used to you but it saved mine and he had no bother with still breastfeeding. I think because I would alternate so I’d not used them for days so he still got nipple without shield at times. You can also google breastfeeding clinic or drop ins in your area where they can help. Also ask your midwife/health visitor to help when they come round :)

Just wanted to come back on here and say the silver cups are a life saver!! I keep them on 24/7 though which I’m not sure is allowed but it works for me and I love them 🤣 Thanks for everyone’s suggestions !
