can i wipe my c section with a baby wipe and let it air dry?
i’m unable to access a shower as i’m in hospital with my little boy due to jaundice. unfortunately they don’t allow parents to use the shower and i’m not able to go home, would this be okay ?

I wouldn’t wipe, if you need to only dab it
I’d ask a midwife to help you clean the area personally. They should be allowing you to shower as you are also still a patient under their care, that’s really irritating. Get help though so it’s done properly and doesn’t irritate the wound
That is absolutely ridiculous to me that they won’t let you shower especially postpartum. They should have something in place. I agree with Sarah, see if you can find a midwife to help you x
It may hurt but use a washcloth and dab it they tought me while I was in the hospital because I was therw for so long
I would 100% advocate for yourself here and insist on a shower to keep your wound clean

Yes make sure it is unscented, if baby is in nicu ask for the parent station. Most nicus have them ours had a family well center with showers and laundry
