A lot of people have recommend ikea high chair. Worried that the quality won’t be great as it’s so cheap? Can anyone share their experiences with it? Baby is six months

it’s still sturdy, easy to take apart and clean. You can buy extras things like mats, infant inserts. For something that is just going to be covered in food, u don’t need to spend a fortune on it. Some of the more expensive ones are apparently a nightmare to clean. My girl is nearly 8 mnths

It’s for mealtimes. It’s cleanable. ✅ (Though I remember putting mine into a more luxurious one when visiting somewhere - it looked like a mini throne 😂 …very comfortable. But just not as cleanable.

I did the ikea one, I got all the cute accessories (wooden foot rest, place mat, leg wraps to make them look wood, a very cute cover for the inflatable cushion) and it looked so cute.. as soon as my lo could use a high hair and we actually used it, I freaking HATED that thing. It was sturdy, it was cute, I’ll give it that. However it was so hard for me to get the tray off and on, and getting her in and out without putting the tray off wasn’t super easy either. All in all, I used it for a week before just ordering one that looked functional on Amazon. A lot of people loved it but it wasn’t for me. If you do end up going this way though you will have to buy a foot rest for it no matter what. Edit: We went with an ingenuity one. It was ugly but it was affordable, easy to clean, worked for baby led weaning and was so easy to get her in and out of that i could even do it one handed, which I loved. It also folded up pretty slim very easily.(:
