Vitamin D for Breastfed Babies

Any mums giving their breastfed babies vitamin D supplements? I was under the impression that as I'm taking a high dose vitamin D daily that I didn't need to buy turns out I do. I did start off giving her the one that you do 1 drop on the nipple of but think we'd get on better with the one you give via syringe type thing as this one is so fiddly and I feel like I lose most of it before it gets to her 🤣 can anyone make any recommendations please? Thanks 🩷

It doesn’t pass through breast milk even if it did it’s definitely not enough for them too. So you still need to do your but baby needs theirs too

Do they take a pacifier you could put it on that and just shove it in their mouth

Which one is the one that is only one drop? I keep seeing people saying that but all the ones i find are definitely waaay more than a drop. Anyway, i express milk and then give my baby a bottle with the vit d added to it, although she doesnt always finish it and i dont always make it…

Instead of putting 1 drop on your nipple just put it in babys mouth before the feed. @marina they were given to me in the hospital and the health visitor should give them out too. They are by prohealth.

I use a small spoon to feed mine.

Bio gagia vit d with probiotic 5 drops directly into the mouth
