Traveling with car seat

I personally would never travel without it as there is no fee to take it on the plane (plus if they’re old enough to have their own seat, it’s safer to have the seat on the plane). I just prefer to have it as I haven’t heard of Ubers having a car seat if the car seat, but if there is I’d assume it would be limited and wouldn’t want the added stress around travelling. I just want to plop my car seat in the first Uber and get to the hotel! 🤣

@Caitlin well that’s the thing, she doesn’t have her own seat; so she’ll be sitting on our laps. So I’d have to check in her car seat underneath the plane. Oh yeah I didn’t know until I researched it and some friends told me about it lol it’s pretty cool that they offer it. But yeah, I completely understand what you’re saying lol but I’d only really need it for the uber ride to the hotel from the airport.

When we traveled with my son I did a lot of research trying to find a car service that would provide a car seat because we only needed it from the hotel back to the airport when we left (family was able to pick us up on arrival with a car seat) it was not very easy to find a service that provided a car seat. I’m pretty sure Uber only has that feature in certain places because where we went wasn’t one so definitely double check where you’re going specifically. I would probably just bring the car seat though and not have the added stress of finding a service with one

@Dana thanks so much for the advice. We’re going to New York so I’m pretty sure uber will offer rides with car seats. Still pretty torn on my decision 😅
