Fitness girlies, I am shaped like SpongeBob literally. I want to lose fat around my waist & work on my booty. Can I accomplish this at home? Planet fitness? Or is it best to get a personal trainer. I think I can handle the meal planning

On my own but what’s best for working out?

Honestly where ever youre comfortable, but you want to get a faja (waist trainer) to shape your waist while working out🫶🏽

I have a wait trainer that is sooo good but it’s so uncomfortable let me go ahead and start wearing it

I hate the tight feeling around my belly for too long 😂

You can accomplish this at home if you want. I find the gym more effective for myself. You cannot spot reduce fat though. So until you lose the fat the muscle you build won’t be visible

Me tooooo i hate itttt but it helpeddd my healing from the baby so muchhh!!! im 10 lbs away from my pre-baby weight and it even helpeddd to keep me from getting a cshelf (the hanging skin over the csection incision)! Theyre so uncomfortable but amazing😂

Which waist trainers do you ladies recommend?

@Zaza I use the ones from Angel Curves , orrrr on the tiktok shop they have some cheaper ones that are just as sturdy!

I always got the best results from lifting weights. Waist trainers are great for temporary results and appetite suppression but they don’t really work for what they market . I’m currently struggling with a small mom pouch 🥲

Spot reduction can’t be done. You can lose weight at home through calorie deficit and exercise. Also a waist trainer won’t do anything, it may be a quick fix to make your stomach appear smaller, but it will weaken your core and posture.

I’d say either gym or home depending on what you’re comfortable with, me personally I’d do all the uncomfortable stretches, bends and any exercises like that at home but use the gym for like cardio, weights and stuff like that. Chloe ring workouts can be a bit intense but if you start doing like half a video then a break and then the other half that could be good to ease your way in x

I lost all my baby weight using the stairs master at the gym. You lose a lot of calories on that machine! I would do 30 minutes to an hour every day. I’ve lost 40lbs. Now I’m focusing on weightlifting because I want to be toned. I’m in the gym 5 days a week.

Just an FYI, there is no way to specifically target one area of your body to lose fat. But diet is a HUGE part of weight loss! You could workout everyday and still not see progress bc weight loss starts in the kitchen! You are definitely capable of achieving your goals with any of the workout methods you mentioned! It just needs to be paired with a healthy balanced diet! 😁

Calorie deficit with high protein

I love a good Russian twist to strengthen and tighten side muscles. Pulls me in.

You can definitely accomplish this at home. I’ve lost 50 pounds since having my baby and it’s been all about nutrition and at home workouts. I can help you by introducing you to the challenges and meal plans that I was a part of. Feel free to message me on my TikTok @GenMarmol or my Instagram @__genr
