Is anyone pregnant/had another and NOT got a double pram?

I'm due my second in December and my son can walk around in public without running off (so far, it's a work in progress) I got the joie evalite but he's massive in the front seat and I doubt he'd for very long. Is there any point? I'm hoping to babywear no2 so if he needs a nap he can go back innhis pram. I just don't know?

Hey! I’m planning the same! Have baby no 2 arriving in March, and have the nuna which both a toddler and newborn can use from the beginning, so will alternate between baby and toddler when need to but planning to wear baby more

Think you can get toddler seats that attach to them!

I have two under two. Didn’t buy a double pram. Toddler walks and baby goes in the pram. Going to get a double buggy when baby turns 6 months x

I think I will be using mine more for dog walks 😃

My second is 2 months old and initially we did not get a double, my plan was to baby wear until toddler was big enough for a buggy board. A couple weeks in we realized that was wishful thinking! Specifically at the science museum in London I tried baby in the sling all day but she was cluster feeding so kept having to navigate around it to get the boob out and by the end of the day my back was Killing me. I really wanted the baby city jogger double but found a really good deal on FB Marketplace for an iCandy and it’s done the job just fine. We’ve used it quite a bit so far. (We’re out & about a lot though, I’m sure it’s different for every family)

Thanks guys, we're going on holiday in a few weeks so we're hoping that will show us how he is without a pram and if we'll need another. It would be alright but I don't drive so rely on the bus a lot apart from weekends😒

I've got the same! So I had my daughter yesterday, and I've already got a 20 month old. We've just bought a buggy board to try for our oldest, I really don't want to buy a double pram!!

How about like a buggy board for your toddler in case he doesn’t want to walk xx

If you are going on holiday I would definitely take a travel pram 😬

I had two, almost exactly two years apart and did get a double but didn’t use it at all…toddler used the pram as a single seat and baby in a carrier. By the time my youngest was too heavy for the carrier my eldest was 2 and a half and happy walking, or he’d pop his bum in the foot bit at the front of the pram for a rest.

@Jade yeah we're gonna take our pram still and have it in the car so it's easily accessible if he does need it or bringing it if we'll be out in the same place for hours. It's just to see if he can really manage with the walking everywhere first. But I do definitely like the buggy board idea and they seem practical with a quick google, thanks all☺️

I’ve just had my second and hsve a double. It’s been used and I can see it being well used in the future. I think some of it is containment when out having the option to secure them. The big thing for me was seeing my friends kids with 3 years between. As soon as the 3 year old saw her old pram she wanted in and on every day out she was relentless.m

Baby brother is joining us next month, I don't plan on getting a double buggy unless we really think we need one. Planning to use the normal pram and baby carrier and look into a buggy board in the future x
