I don’t think so. Depends who you get. Some of them will but i don’t think they’re meant to

They’re not allowed to apparently.. all to do with them not holding responsibility if it’s wrong x

Don’t stress. They will ask when you go into the room if you want to know or not. However the NHS rarely get involved in gender reveals.

Ahhh! Looks like i need to book a private one so it can be written down for my sister to reveal xx

I had my 20 week scan in a NHS hospital and the sonographer asked if we wanted to know the gender and we said no as we wanted to do a reveal with family. She gave us a sealed envelope at the end of the scan with a paper inside which had the gender written on it. I gave the envelope to my sister who planned my the gender reveal party!

Depends on the hospital/ sonographer but most of the time they won’t. Go privately if you’re wanting to do a gender reveal x

Depends which trust as they all have different policies. Mine wouldn't however I always just paid private at 16 weeks

When I went for my 20 week scan there were signs up saying that they do not do gender reveals so I doubt they would I'm afraid!

When I had my 20-week scan, we asked the sonographer to write it down for us as we wanted to find out in our own time, and they gave it to us in a sealed envelope with baby's gender circled on a piece of paper ☺️ They did keep stressing to us though that they can't guarantee that it'll be 100% correct, but I'm guessing that's mainly for liability purposes!

No, they most likely wont We went private at 16 weeks for gender, did a reveal with close family. I waited to buy anything until 20 week scan and confirmed gender from private scan x

No they won't

Yes.. Just tell them you want a surprise and they will write it down and give to you… I did mine when I was 20weeks The sonograher asked me if I wanted to know the gender or I want it a surprise and I said surprise .

Ours did 😊

Some will. My health board does and I know it's a health board thing because it was on a specific piece of paper that was printed with the NHS area logo and "we are happy to offer our opinion on the sex of your baby". Then they've circled the word girl in pink on mine. Not common enough to get guarantee it though. They offered for me because my partner missed it last minute..

i asked the midwife scanning me not to tell me as i wanted to do a gender reveal, and she put it in an envelope for me! maybe everywhere is different but it’s worth asking ❤️
