Hip pain

Hey! Has anyone been suffering with hip pain? I can barely sleep because I get pain in my hips, feels like a building cramp, I rotate to the other side and then that one starts to build too. I am currently sleeping with pillows between knees but not sure if there is anything else I can do or should I just say goodbye to sleep 🤣🤣

Snap!!! I have also been suffering, I’ve done the same with pillows and we even bought a new mattress. I still have hip pain that wakes me up. I’m planning on looking into gel type pads to sit on next, no idea if they will work but it’s worth a go maybe 🙈

Sounds like pelvic girdle pain. I got sent to a physio class and they gave me some exercises. If you look on the nhs obstetrics page the leaflet for pelvic girdle is on there you can try some :) just keep flagging up to midwife or GP if your really struggling but sadly not much else to do. Use a yoga ball to sit on, use compacted towels in the small of your back when sitting etc xx

Also I was advised to not put pillows in between legs but instead have two or 3 pillows (depending on thickness) to prop the leg that's in air onto it so its the same height as your hip and not dipping down or upward. :) I've went through 3 maternity pillows and then they told me that 😅

Omg yes yes yes!!!! I feel pain in my hips and femur! The pain subsides when I change position but then I wake up after a few hours with pain on the other side!!!! I also want to know what to do! As I am sleeping so bad due to this!
