Missed miscarriage

Hi, this happened to me. I was 8 weeks, I went for a private scan (had a sac no baby) she referred me to go to the epu, so the next day I rang doctors and they got me referred that day and I went in as an emergency. It was the same she said it looked like the baby hadn’t developed past 5.5-6 weeks but I had no pain no bleeding (I knew in my mind for 3-4 weeks though that something was wrong but I ignored it) I went back in 10 days just to make sure it wasn’t to early (I knew it wasn’t) but had to follow there guidelines, she told me to prepare myself which I already had for them 3/4 weeks tbh. I went back in 10 days I was about 10 weeks by then, I was measuring about 8-9 weeks so was still growing but still no baby, I opted for tablets. I took one that day then another 48 hours later, I started bleeding 3 hours later and it was heavy for 2 days, I didn’t really have any pain if I did it was just a mild period cramp, after 2 days it was basically like a period for 3-4 days after that

Couple of steaks when I wiped after but it was all done, tested negative in 3 weeks. I’m glad I went this way and had it all done with as mentally I was exhausted! I’m sorry for your loss. This method was best for me as I was only 4 months pp and didn’t want surgery as I’d already been in and out of hospital for 8 weeks of her life and had surgery not like prior to this x

It’s not as bad as you think it’ll be. However, don’t look at what you past it’ll upset you more. Thankfully I’d already processed what happened as I had a gut feeling all them weeks beforehand. I’m just glad it’s over and hope I’ll never have to do it again! You’ll be okay and if you want anyone to talk to your welcome to have a chat with me :) sorry for your loss x

I was exactly on the same scenario I took the tablets and the did help I had a full miscarriage two weeks ago and they confirmed that everything came out The pain was hard but manageable with pain killers for the first day

I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing with me. I have taken the first tablet and I am back tomorrow for the next dose but I’ve had no bleeding or pain yet? Xx

I didn’t bleed or have pain until I took the second tablet. I started to bleed after 3 hours of the second one. But didn’t have any pain until 3 days after which was only a day or 2 x
