Formula feeding

My LG is 4 weeks old and is currently having 4oz every 3 hours during day, but 2 hours during the night. Is this an ok amount to be feeding her?! She was on 3oz but was never settled and always hungry after! She was born 6 weeks early so im just very unsure with things as feel i didn’t “prep” as best I could with these things!

Congrats on your little one! 😊 It sounds like you’re doing great! That’s totally okay, especially since she was a bit early and seems to be settling better with the extra ounce. Babies have their own feeding rhythms, and it’s normal for them to eat more frequently at night when they’re still figuring things out. Trust your instincts! If she seems happy and is gaining weight, you’re on the right track. It’s all about finding what works for her, and you’re already doing a fantastic job. Just keep an eye on her cues, and don’t stress too much! You got this! 🙌❤️

Is she taking the full 4oz at each feed? Is she spitting up etc after feeds or is okay of she is then shes just a hungry baby which is fine. Follow her cues 🙂 How many bottles is she having in a 24 hour period?

@Angel Thankyou!! Sometimes I just fear I’m giving to much but she is gaining weight well and settling so I’ll just keep trusting she knows what she wants!❤️

@Lauren she very rarely spits up or is sick, only if she’s guzzled it too fast😳 she has about 8 bottles over 24 hours depending if she’s gone 3 or 2 hours in between! Xx

Then I'd say she's doing absolutely fine and keep up with what she wants 🙂
