Have you tried infacol or gripe water? Not sure how old she is but infacol is from birth, gripe water is from 1 month I believe
Gripe water was really good for my son when he was a baby but, I also had to keep him up for about 10 to 15 minutes after burping because of this. Probably isn't it but, I took him to the doctors after a while of it and he was diagnosis with CMPA. The doctor told me that excessive wind at night is a sign of CMPA x
Is she definitely awake? My son grunts and squirms half the night too but his eyes are actually shut and he’s asleep. If I pick him up he doesn’t burp and actually wakes him more. So I leave him to it unless he wakes up.
My son used to do this apparently it’s totally normal for them to struggle with passing gas as newborns! I just let him do his thing and eventually he’d settle down. As long as you are burping her after feedings she should be totally fine. It just sounds a bit like a work out for them in the beginning but as my son got older he stopped with all the grunting.
@Sarah I’m questioning this now as the internet said she might be asleep! But she doesn’t have active sleep like that in the day time it’s only at night? I will observe tonight as she is fine with bringing up wind in the day time so it could be that! Just really hard to sleep through as my whole body is looking to fix whatever is wrong as she sounds so uncomfortable!
@Kimberleigh mine is also fine in the day but noisy at night. I don’t pick him up unless I see his eye actively open for at least a min or two or if he cries. I’m constantly checking him as he’s so noisy but his eyes are shut and it can go on for hours.
This helped my son alot as an infant and it tasted good to him: https://a.co/d/fS5KbQs
