Need advice

My baby was breech so we did an ultrasound at 1 month and 3 months for precautionary reasons. His hips looked better from 1 month to 3 so no brace thankfully but they were going to monitor him for his first year of life. I went into his X-ray two days ago thinking there would be no issues. His hips are at 30° exactly and even though it is borderline they put him in a rhino brace. They want him in it for all naps and bedtime. My baby is 5.5 months and sleeps horribly as it is and just will not sleep with the brace! Screams and cries and will not do it. We’ve only had it for 2 days so far but I don’t see him ever sleeping in it… i cant even get him to sleep in a crib hardly, let alone, now with a brace. during the day he's tolerated about an hour at a time in the brace. do you think like 4-5 hours a day in the brace will be enough? i know this sounds awful and i should make my baby wear it to get better but i need sleep, too! i have a toddler also and i went back to work today. his is bad timing for heading back to work. I'm sorry i'm complaining, it could be so much worse, i know. any thoughts? will just a few hours be enough since he's borderline doesn't really need it?
