I really hate the term bonus kids

It makes more sense for some families than others. I'd never use it, but for some, it really fits.

I don’t like it but I use it because people seem to look down on the word step kids and I don’t like saying my kids so…. 🤷‍♀️

My husband doesn’t like it either. He feels like it others them more. He prefers just saying kid/my kid or saying the technical/legal term of step kid.
