Haircut/hair style

My baby is almost 10 months and was born with a lot of hair. I’ve trimmed it a few times since he has gotten older and it’s growing longer instead of fuller. But now I’m wondering if I need to start thinking of actual haircuts to get him used to it being cut? Does anyone have recommendations on when you started actually cutting your babies hair and styling it?😊
