Baby moviments

Hello, I am 32 weeks pregnant, but I noticed about 2 days ago that the baby is not moving like it always did. I feel that she is in the same position and I feel slight movements. I have an appointment next Saturday, should I go before to the hospital (tomorrow) and see if everything is okay? Xx

You should always go to hospital to be assessed if you notice a change in movements, better to be safe ☺️

This is my first pregnancy so I’m not an expert but I would go sooner. Especially if you are feeling concerned or worried. Hope everything is okay and wishes for the best. My brother didn’t move a lot towards the end and it was just because he had too much fluid in his amniotic sac so it doesn’t necessarily have to be a cause for concern but better to be safe.

Yes. My midwife told me to go in immediately if I feel reduced movements, no need to call and any time of day and night. Last week, I did just that at 5 am on a Sunday morning. They saw me straight away and monitored baby and he was absolutely fine. But they said that if I feel it again, I should keep coming back. They were very accommodating and put our minds at rest and I wouldn't hesitate to go again. This is my first baby, so I felt like I was maybe overreacting, but I'm glad I did for peace of mind. Xx

I had something similar on last Friday, rang triage and they immediately asked me to come to hospital.Monitored for about 30mins and I could feel the baby movements straight away, so don't wait till your appointment. It's better to be assured soon.

Just updating you, I called the emergency and went to the hospital this morning to check on the baby, they monitored it and everything is fine and normal, I’m peace now! First-time mothers have a lot of concerns and questions, so it's always good to look for answers. Thank you for your help, moms. 🥰
