Exercise during stims

I know they so no exercise during this period and yes I know the reasons but the more I research not every clinic says the same. Especially new research and evidence. I feel the NHS are just one fit for all and stay super cautious which is understandable but did anyone do light to moderate exercise and how did you feel and did you have any problems ? I feel not doing an exercise besides boring walks is not great for my body or mental health which is what I did last 2 rounds. Thanks

Like you, I did similar research and came to the same conclusions. I am curious to know what other women think or have done.

I did gym 3 times a week (weights based) and walked.

I start to research about this as well. I’m not ready to stop exercising… mentally! I was reading about light exercise, not core pre egg retrieval…

@Cote @FayI went yesterday (day 6 ) of stims and I felt good doing some light weights and the step machine but I also don’t have that many eggs so far this round from what I could see on my baseline scan . I might be inclined not to if I had over 10 that were developing well .

There is still time for more eggs to mature. I didn’t exercise at all for my egg retrieval because I was feeling quite bloated. I resumed excercise after my retrieval.I had my third transfer yesterday. I went on long walks with short intervals of jogging, keeping each jog to about one minute. Then light weight lifting in the evening. I’ll see how things progress from here.

@Fay wishing you all the best !! I am finding really light weighted arm exercises and the stair master and walking working for me during stims . I stay away from heavy weights and abdominal work . I had my second scan on day 9 of cycle (6days stim) and my eggs had de eloped nicely and my lining was looking perfect. So I feel like it helps with my mental health as well as light exercise has shown to stimulate the ovaries with good blood flow. This is also my third round. Here’s hoping it’s a successful one for both of us .
