Anterior placenta + kicks

Hi ladies! I'm 22+1 and have an anterior placenta. I'm sure I have probably felt little kicks over the last week or so but think I've unintentionally assumed they were just wind or somethingšŸ¤£ but I'm 99% sure I've just seen some kicks as I was sunbathing and watching my belly, and I think I could feel them slightly too. Has anyone else 'seen' more intense kicks before they've properly felt them?

Firstly, sunbathing??!!! Where are you? šŸ˜‚

@Rachel šŸ¤£šŸ¤£ currently in Kos! Needed a holiday before February šŸ¤£

I've got an anterior placenta and been feeling flutters since 18/19 weeks... I'm 25 weeks now and the kicks have definitely got stronger! I guess I haven't really seen them though as I'm not always looking at my belly!

@Louise Wow that's amazing! Good to know they definitely get stronger! Was starting to worry I might never feel any šŸ˜…

I have an anterior placenta too. Felt flutters from 16/17 weeks, Iā€™m now 22 weeks and I donā€™t feel any flutters but random movementsā€¦ they are very faint compared to the flutters though. Itā€™s my first pregnancy so Iā€™m not sure what they should feel like šŸ˜….

Iā€™m 22weeks and not felt anything yet. Big change from when I had a low lying placenta with my son

Iā€™m 24 weeks tomorrow and last night I saw kicks properly! Before that I hadnā€™t felt her! But I was just led down last night and looked down and you could fully see her kicking!šŸ©·

@Nicole it's sooo hard isn't it when you have no idea what anything should feel like šŸ¤£

@Melissa did you feel alot of the movements with the low lying placenta?

@Tiffany soo glad others have seen kicks too!! It's amazing isn't itšŸ©·

@Liz yeah because he was kicking me all the time over kicking the placenta. I had movements from very early on in my pregnancy last year. Iā€™ve got an anterior placenta this time which is why Iā€™ve not felt a thing. At my midwife appointment I did mention Iā€™ve not felt anything and when she felt for babies position he is lying behind the placenta so itā€™s normal to not feel anything

@Melissa ahh that makes total sense!! Hopefully we start feeling proper movements soonšŸ¤žšŸ¼
